About the Author and Artist

Meriden Toombs

Meriden Toombs grew up in Richfield, Minnesota. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s in Family Financial Planning. She later received her master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. She taught sixth grade for several years in Vail, Arizona, before moving to southeast Missouri where she intuitively helps others balance their spiritual and physical lives so they can live in peace and harmony.

Meriden now lives with her husband on a beautiful 22-acre farm in Southeast Missouri. They have dogs, cats, sheep, goats, and bees. She enjoys hiking, walking, yoga, gardening, reading, music, and most of all, spending time with her two sons, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.

This is Meriden’s first novel. You can connect with her at meriden@natarastory.com.

Cheryl White

Cheryl White believes the quote, “If everything could be said with words there would be no reason for paintings”.  In an elementary class she was assigned to write a short story, she begged her teacher to illustrate one instead. She was disappointed when her request was denied.

She enjoys working in watercolor, oils, fiber art and recently explored working with pastels. In 2003 one of her pieces received a purchase award from an international art competition.

She has a large Family and other responsibilities, so art often gets put to the side for another day. But that’s OK with her because her ideas are stored mentally waiting one day to be created physically.
