Trigger Alert

Trigger alert! I must warn you; this story is not for the faint of heart. I would not recommend this book for anyone under eighteen years of age, except if they have lived a life similar to Natara and need hope, redemption, and peace. Empaths—those who tend to easily feel and absorb the feelings of others—may particularly have a hard time reading this book. Natara’s story portrays the harsh realities of what it could be like to be trafficked by evil people. It depicts satanic ritual abuse (SRA) and how that can negatively affect the victims. It covers other sensitive topics such as depression, sex, pedophilia, cannibalism, human sacrifice, suicide. Yeah, it’s rough. I asked God if I could take out some of the troublesome sections or tone down other parts, knowing it would be a difficult story to read. My answer was no. I don’t know why, but I need to trust in the One who knows best.

If you do not want to read the undesirable parts in this story, start by reading the first few chapters; you will know when to stop. Then, start again at Chapter 23. There may be a couple parts that you may want to skip over, but that is where Natara begins to develop some hope and it becomes easier to read from there.

The sad reality is, even though this story takes place in ancient times, all of these evils permeate our society today, probably more than most of us want to acknowledge and accept. Many times, abusers are those who we should be able to trust: family members, medical professionals, clergy, and caregivers, among others.

After going through hell, Natara’s story takes a turn and shows that hope, forgiveness, redemption, and peace are available for anyone who has experienced SRA, been abused, felt depressed, or been hopeless. There is hope. There is healing. There is forgiveness. There is redemption. And peace is available for each of us.

There are many organizations you can get involved in to help stop the spread of these evils and help the unfortunate victims to find healing, hope, and peace. You can find many resources at natarastory.com/ resources.

It is my prayer that as you read this story, you will be protected and will learn what you can do to experience greater hope and peace in your life.
